We got this e-mail this morning from the executive editor of the Oshkosh Northwestern:

Dear Mr. McGuire,
Please tell me that "Working together on a new kind of journalism" does not include allowing practical jokers to post April Fool's gags on the site without some sort of review, oversight or editors' note.
I am referring to the wind farm project story on the Oshkoshnews.org page this morning.
If Oshkoshnews.org is going to be a dumping ground for any and all submissions without editing, am I to conclude the Campus Greens endorsement is also an April Fool's submission?
However, I am confident you will post the appropriate correction and explanation about how susceptible Web sites, blogs and chat rooms are to irresponsible content.

Sounds to me like we have heard from an expert on dumping grounds...the editor of The Oshkosh Daily Tabloid!
Speaking of dumping, Stew, you really need to lighten up, I mean really, if you of all people don't have a sense of humor in the line of work and type of work you produce daily, you may need medical attention. I suggest an enema. No foolin'.

Did Stew Rickman actually publish this post? If so I have a concern. How can the editor of the only newspaper in town not know how to spell. Stew for the recore McGuire is spelt Maguire. Maybe there is somekind of joke that I'm missing. If so I apologize. If not a word of advice. It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
Seems that you're on equal footing with the Northwestern since it's April Fools joke was that Bill Castle is not a union-buster. LOL!!!!
Yes I think we were all able to read between the lines as to what Bill Castle was saying (or not saying, rather, since he had no comment). What a stupid politician.
