Welcome to the Voter Information Project (VIP). It's been almost 50 years since Oshkosh has had a directly elected mayor. But the city has had mayors during that time: They were elected by the members of the Common Council. On this page, you'll find some of the thoughts and perspectives of past mayors about the new mayoral position and the upcoming election.

What are the parts of Oshkosh that need to be improved? What are the aspects of the community that need to be preserved? We think it should be up to the citizens of Oshkosh and not necessarily the politicians, pundits and editorial writers to decide. You can provide your input either online or at a public meeting scheduled for Jan. 19.
